The journey behind the work — and the hope that keeps me going.

My journey into this work began with a simple conviction: no one should have to face their hardest seasons alone. That conviction has shaped everything I do — from one-to-one counselling to the talks, seminars and courses I lead.
I trained as a counsellor and have spent years walking alongside individuals, couples and communities as they navigate anxiety, grief, loss, burnout and the everyday strain on relationships. My approach blends sound, evidence-based psychological practice with a deep and gentle Christian faith.
Alongside my practice, I completed a PhD exploring the meeting point of faith, mental health and wellbeing. Research has given me a language to talk about what I see in the counselling room — and to help churches and organisations respond with both compassion and competence.
Today I speak, teach and write, and I also work alongside Parakaleo. Whatever the setting, my hope stays the same.
“My hope is that everyone I meet would know they are seen, valued, and never beyond hope.”
